Lol na I’m at home with the wife and our newborn we had Monday. Didn’t have time to stand in the cold flipping a guy off. Plus it’s Sunday, you can’t just be flipping folks off on God’s day.

I think I saw Wammies in one of those videos at the airport. jk So OM offered the staff double to stay. This has been very unexpected. I know the pay means a lot to the assistants, but the opportunity to coach an 11-1 team in the playoffs is a dream come true. Let’s not pretend though that Kiffin didn’t make OM what it is. They have boosters who will support and give a bunch of money to the program, but Kiffin was the key. Now they practically hired a coordinator to be the head guy after we heard all week how Sumrall was dying to get the job, but they’d settle for Golesh. This does seem like the Arnett hire at State in regards to keeping a team in tact, but the season isn’t over and they have a lot more to play for (and a good team).

To answer your question, the answer is “No”, unless the MHSAA changes its rules. MHSAA doesn’t allow eligibility to out-of-state athletes. That was one of the reasons that the River Catholic schools jumped to the MAIS.
