It seems like Texas has a lot of square pegs and round holes. Lots of talent that maybe doesn’t necessarily mesh together very well. I have no clue what to make of Auburn now. That was one of the more shocking SEC results of the last decade. I do like Golesh as a coach though, just didn’t think he had very much talent to work with this year. Seems like he is figuring out how to work within the group he has. But also if you told me they end up still finishing like 6-6 I wouldn’t be totally shocked.

No everyone has lost after winning a big game the week before. Maybe LSU survives this week then a let down the next week. Texas has problems and its not necessarily Arch's fault. O-LINE, RECEIVERS, AND trouble has followed that DC everywhere.

Yesterday was a “forget everything you thought you knew” kind of day. I have zero read on the rest of the season. I kinda think Georgia will be fine? I kinda think Ole Miss and Kentucky are a lot better than I thought a week or two ago? I kinda think LSU still has a role to play in it all, either by getting into the Playoff or ruining someone else’s Playoff dream? I kinda think Texas could easily finish 7–5? But I don’t know anything. Well ok I do know one thing, State needs Kamario (and Fluff) back like immediately.

This is incorrect. In the MHSAA handbook , nowhere in the tiebreaker is total points scored used. There are point differential scenarios (with 12 points maximum), & points ALLOWED, but never points scored. Pages 74-75 of the MHSAA handbook.

Shannon is like just about every pretty solid north 4A team. They wish like heck Louisville would disappear.......who know they might still drop down to 3A

Erbody has a few good players. I'm simply pointing out basically how to limit the Shannon offense and that is to stop the RB first and make them more one dimensional. I think Shannon should win the region this year and make the 3rd round and be thumped pretty good by Louisville. No reason to hang their head for being thumped good by Louisville. A 10-3 record with 2 of the losses to Louisville.

I agree and Miami has 5 tough games remaining. Pitt, @ UNC, @ Notre Dame, Duke and V Tech- any of these could be a loss for the Canes. I don't think the upsets and wild finishes are done for the top 25 teams.

You say this as a Shannon fan when Shannon is currently on a one year disciplinary probation. Prob shouldn’t throw stones in a glass house.

On a tiebreaker the max you can get is 12pts. So if you beat a team by 50 and that team you beat 50 comes to a tiebreaker it will say you only beat them by 12.

In Mississippi the MHSAA tie breaker #4 for playoff seeding actually if I understand it correctly is totally points scored in region play. So running up the score sometimes works out or benefits at least one school. #5 Goes to a coin toss. Administration needs to understand there is a reason you have to beat an opponent by 41 vs another region opponent just beat them last week by 40.

At this point it does. Everyone in 6a south just feels average at the moment. Hopefully if HHS gets by George Co this week more anticpaton can build up for the West jones game. In past years that game was already being built up weeks in advance.
