Something just didn't feel right going into the Terry game. Pregame senior night activities took longer than usual and everything just felt off. I expect a more normal feel this week

After last week game against Terry i expect hburg to come out full of energy an actually ready to play. Hburg has a problem with playing/coaching down to competition... did it with biloxi, FH and Terry. Far as PRC goes i expect them to give hburg there best shot and then some. Last year was kinda embarrassing after the hype they had coming into the playoffs.

Lebby's future hinges on the next 3 games regardless of Kamario Taylor's health.

Someone mentioned that over lunch last week and he was specifically talking about why Blue Mountain would never merge with Ripley. Tippah county must still have open districting as far as where a student resides because they have kids in high school who have never attended the actual school in which district they reside.

Not sure if schools like North tippah who isn't fully organized yet or North Pontotoc or New Albany put up much of a fight or not.

PRC might actually try to score against y’all this year. Remember Picayune kept them from having their Super Bowl, so they aren’t a fully cooked goose yet. They weren’t able to have their parade Friday, so how and where that energy gets channeled is kind of the million dollar question. It’s kind of like having unfinished business. Them losing to Picayune is probably more beneficial to them than they even realize.

This stretch of games coming up for Lebby remind of 2013 CDM. If you all remember he was on shaky ground at 4-6 going into the Arkansas and Ole Miss games. The much maligned Tyler Russell helped lead us to an overtime win on road against the Razorbacks and then we had the OT win over OM. Which led to the blow out of Rice in the Liberty Bowl. Which led into the 2014 season. These four games are really crucial for Lebby. He really needs to be 3-1 with a competitive showing in the Egg Bowl to create momentum going into 2027 (plus a bowl game with extra practices). Anything less will be a disappointment though 6-6 given the injuries would not be terrible. Any thoughts from you guys on this perspective?

State really needs the light bulb to come on for Tristan Reed in the next month or so. He’s very talented but very raw. But his ceiling is much higher than Okafor who has been underwhelming.

Especially in classes 2-4. In your larger classes, often times a 4 seed can beat a 1 seed. You are correct in mostly you see blow outs in the first round games like last night.

Enterprise Clarke and clarkdale both struggle against teams with athletes. If you they cant play ball control against those type of teams then that’s what tends to happen. I knew PC could score on them but I thought enterprise would be able to keep the sticks moving and eat up clock, but that wasn’t the case.

We were not ready but when you get beat 37 to nothing the better team won.

I wouldn’t be so sure about that Per Central beat Enterprise worse than Mize and East Marion beat Clarkdale worst than both of us.

these results just show how ridiculous these classes are where teams with 1 and 2 wins all year make the playoffs.

With Swann and Bothwell good to go, I’ll take State. OM’s defense plays much better at home. I’ll take OM. LSU, UK, Missouri, Auburn, FL and SC. ND also takes down Miami. Neither are a legit contender.
