I'd be interested to see what regions 1 and 2 north in both 3A and 4A might look like. do ripley and independence just swap places? where would mooreville end up?

2A will be a matter of putting O'bannon and Union in a region. Those should be the only changes.

2A/1A split is Hamilton 155 and Myrtle 151. 40 schools in 2A but boy 3 schools at 151, 2 schools at 150, 5 schools in the 140s.

senatobia gets last place region 4 in first round and then winner on reg 2- number 2 and the region 4- number 3 team. possibly be houston at tobie town in round 2

It would benefit them in the long run too, Football is on the rise, but every other sport they have struggled to compete. About to have a new AD so it would be a fresh start.

Guess we will see. When they redrew the line they lost 75ish students to Vancleave. That came from an admin at one of the schools.

There used to be another one called misshsfootball, but it died with COVID. It kept up with the district standings and also points per game. It had active teams, defunct teams, and playoff brackets. The difference with it though is that it only kept up from the creation of MHSAA to around 2020 when it stopped.

St Martin will not move down to 6A

The parent of a player who plays at South Jones told me this morning that SJ will be 6a next season. Good luck in that region playing West Jones Hattiesburg and possibly Meridian

Amory 4A, Booneville 3A

Uh… What?

From what I heard over the weekend EC expects to be back down to 4A and Vancleave is expected to move up to 6A possibly joined by St. Martin. The redrawing of the county district lines is affecting all of their numbers.

What do you have for Amory? Booneville?

I'd like to think West Jones has the advantage in this one. With the veteran guys they have on offense and getting Pierson back, I just think things may be starting to gel at the right time for them. I feel like West Jones can get some stops on defense, but they are going to have to capitalize on them. I can also see this being a shootout type game as well. The X-factors in this game will be how the West Jones and Hattiesburg defenses perform in this one.

Myrtle is planning on that number being at least 1 over 140............

corinth or New Albany region winner gets kosy in round 2. corinth or new albany loser get louisville in round 2. they both should defeat the 3rd and 4th place teams from region 3 in first round

Whoever win that division who will them teams match up with 1st rd, 2nd rd

That just like what happen 2 years ago Shannon had to go to West Lauderdale cause they was a higher region and I think they was in Region 4-4A and Louisville was in Region 3-4A, Shannon was in Region 1-4A 2 years ago.

I have not researched all those numbers. I feel like 140-150 will be the split.
