  1. Past hour
  2. The improvement in tackling has been huge to this point. It was and has been an obvious point of emphasis and we have had very few broken tackles in the first two games. That alone helps the defense immensely. We are going to give up some yards and points but when you eliminate the YAC, you can get off the field faster. That will be another key this Saturday in COSC. Seller’s is slippery so he will present a great challenge.
  3. So if Meridian drops to 6A, then I would assume George County would move to Region 4 in 6A.
  4. We will be stuck with 7 again in Region 4 and likely either HC, West harrison, or Hancock be sent to Region 3
  5. Nobody would go down to 6a. One of the coast schools who is in Region 4 7a would get bumped up to Region 3 7a if Meridian was to drop. If Hancock goes 7a that is 8 coast schools in 7a. One goes up to possibly replace Meridian you still have 7 schools in Region 4
  6. I ask this just as an observation of watching a few games that I have watched this season. Who has the best defense in the state? I know people off the top of their head. They’re gonna say Gulfport and yes, that defeats is nasty. Outside of them who.
  7. What’s the cutoff looking like for 1A-2A-3A
  8. That is the thing, I am hearing none of them are expected to be down low enough to drop. West Harrison and St. Martin are the only two remotely close but I am hearing they both think they are squarely staying 7A.
  9. Who on the coast would get kicked back down to 6A?
  10. If that is the case someone on the coast could go to region 3 if Meridian happens to drop to 6a
  11. Today
  12. Hearing Hancock will be moving up to 7A. May be a log jam in Region 4-7A
  13. Ripley and possibly North Pontotoc just depending how all the numbers fall.
  14. I'm not sure about who Ruston replaced or anything.
  15. somebody going to have to leave 4A if Pontotoc do comeback to 4A and Corinth staying in 4A
  16. Pontotoc may drop to 4A. Corinth admin has told me this morning that they feel they will remain 4A.
  17. LOL You are right. Also, the old hurry up and get them to vo-tech off campus
  18. I heard Amory might be going back down to 3A, Corinth might be going back to 5A that what I heard
  19. I guess the days of moving kids from one room to another to create the look of more students are long gone.
  20. I really think people need to check the numbers that Heidelberg turns in. There is no way that school is that close to 1A numbers.
  21. As well they should if that happened. Now I can say this about them. When I have been at an OG home game, their student section at times does seem to be more interested at doing other things besides watching the game. Seems like it is more of a social gathering amongst friends for them.
  22. The posts I have seen so far have cited disrespect during national anthem, moment of silence for 9/11, band performance, and spraying baby oil all over.
  23. Nothing to do with the playing of the game, but what did the Oak Grove student section do to be suspended from student section privileges being taken away at all athletic events until further notice. I was there and saw nothing out of the ordinary happen.
  24. I'm hearing that Saltillo and Lafayette may swap classes, Corinth will stay 4A and Pontotoc will drop down to 4A, Ripley and North Pontotoc will drop down to 3A. lawd at the rumors.
