I would agree that Gulfport is the team to beat. We (Meridian) are vastly improved but we still have some weaknesses. A very big game at Petal next week. We really need to win that one. I know many will make it about Boyles but he was only at Meridian one year and that was three years ago. It now just represents a game we need to win for playoff purposes. Congrats to Wayne County. Your team like Meridian is playing its best football right now and ceiling is up there for further improvement.

Puckett has actually looked okay. Made a poor decision to keep the ball. Give it to Fluff or pass the ball. That hurt. Ole Miss getting waxed by TX tonight. Just a poor day for our two teams. Kudos to USM for the win over ULL. That is a big shot in the arm for the Golden Eagles.

There's a reason Paul put that statement from Tracey on the wrap up. He was on the sidelines too. He saw what was going on. I'm pretty sure they hurt one of the RBs ankle bouncing on it after he was down. It was something after every play. They were putting eight or nine at the line every at every snap. Their coach got mad when it didn't stop us from scoring.

OU wins by 8. The QB problem at State will get the most talk, but that was an absolutely terrible defensive showing by State too. OU missed three field goals or that game isn’t remotely close. Best offensive showing of the season by a bad offense. I think that Vandy game in two weeks is potentially Lebby coaching for his job. Can’t believe it has turned as quickly as it has. But there are more problems than just Kamario being injured. MANY more.

Just feels like State was a house of cards this year and it took one or two injuries to take them from Top 20 team to I’m not totally sure they get to 6-6 now. This is the kind of game that will get the Lebby hot seat talk going again.

Kamario hurt again late first quarter. Scrambled on a 4th down and you could tell immediately there was a problem. These next three quarters are going to be a painful watch with these two offenses. 3-2 the sequel?
