Merlin I can't remember if Picayune had any D1 players during that '11-'13 run. They just played good and were coached good.

That's right. And the coach that won the 1st one, and built the team that won the 2nd one, is back.

It boils down to the non-region portion of the schedule to get teams prepared for region play and/or playoffs. I realize there's teams out there that schedule the non-region portion as it correlates to skill set, but you don't want it to be 5 cupcakes either. You need some animal protein in there somewhere.

9 weeks from today you can play a jamboree. How is everyone feeling about their team heading into the season?

They start region play this year with Gautier. Maybe they could steal one there.
