All our turnovers the bad play was our downfall. Sims is the fastest player on the team; we dont depend on one back but Mize is lucky he wasnt playing because that dude is fast. Rebel Bert Posted September 12, 2022 Share Posted September 12, 2022 Enterprise better be 100% healthy because a home game with Wesson, Hazlehurst, or Magee won't be a cakewalk this year if they can get past Union, Morton and at Forest and their refs who like throw that hanky on every scoring play against the visitor. Football by its nature is a fluid and unpredictable game. I never believed a week ago that Mize would lose to Enterprise by a point. Raleigh or JDC or Enterprise are not pre-ordained to win 3a. Thats why the games are played. If Enterprise were to play JDC or Raleigh the MHSSA would not say ''well Enterprise cant beat JDC or Raleigh so Enterprise should just forfeit.'' You cannot make conclusions about a team because of one game. I believe Enterprise will have a great season and go far in the playoffs of course I could be wrong. No offense but did not have a bad game. Clinton is well coached and improved from last year. Laurel ran into a buzz zaw of a team from Mendenhall. Newton County is not a bad team. They gave Scott Central all they wanted. Stringer is going to give Enterprise he'll on the field. It will take a complete game from Enterprise to win over a former Taylorsville and Magee Asst coach. So Stringer lost to Resurrection (the 1A team), but it was 20-7, I would think that's the matchup you're referring to here. Is it really that far fetched for a well-coached 1A team to defeat a 2A team? Just this last week in MHSAA games, we had two 3A teams defeat 6A teams. It happens. I think the enthusiasm you have for your team is great. Nobody on this board questions your loyalty and most importantly the confidence you have in your team.
