coastfootballfanman
I really do not feel like looking up the information and I figured someone here could answer it anyway. How many schools are in the MHSAA, and of that number how many play football? Edited June 27, 2022 by coastfootballfanman

Not Death. smh All I know is they played a schedule with other Death Schools across the Southeast. Sometimes they the same state 2 times in a season. They did win a Natty a few years back. Not sure they play anymore since their schedule has nit been posted in recent years. We'll maybe I should have put Deaf which is what I meant to say.
s1nglewing
They are playing 8-man mostly against other deaf schools, but usually play at least one MAIS 8-man team as well.

Ok I just haven't seen their schedule being posted in the last few years. Clarion Ledger has gotten gotten away from their annual printing of their classes, etc in late August. I know they were down to 50 students. Maybe they don't play football with that low of number and not enough boys to play.
s1nglewing
MSD went 3-3 last year, but the three wins were all by forfeit; 1-4 in 2020 - only win also by forfeit; 2019 they were 2-6. Coach Georgetown has kept the program going.

Their entire staff of people who work at both place are trash.

Rebel Bert
I agree the Clarion Ledger and Hattiesburg American are not what they use to be. I think controlled by MSU.

No MSU alumni run the show if not mistaken. They sold out a few years back to a newspaper out of Nashville. They also own HA. Everything college and pro comes from Nashville. Their high school sports is now the same in both papers. It's shabby at best now. You use to could go in and get the scores on line. Now they want you to purchase a subscription. It's gone to the dogs so to speak
pancho
They couldn't even get Lemonis first name correct in an article this season. Called him Greg Lemonis. They run it like a weak liberal who only agrees with the free speech that they agree with.
