pancho
looks like a good list. Amory is hands down the north 3A team with the most talent returning.

None of the teams on this list can hold a candle to Enterprise except Raleigh. My Top Ten: 1 Enterprise 2 Raleigh 3 JDC 4 Tylertown 5 Magee 6 Morton 7 St Stanislaus 8 Hazlehurst 9 Union 10 Clarkdale

And how do you know JDC doesnt have another Mr. Football on the team this season? Just because a team loses a lot of starters does not mean the players that didnt start last season arent going to be as good as last years starters.
pancho
He doesn't and he has no idea either but he does get the rosiest homer opinion award already for the upcoming season.

I saw JDC firsthand last November when Enterprise played them; they pretty much beat us with 5-6 players who were all seniors; they are going to have a major drop off this year; people are just picking them high because they are coached by Mancuso and on what they have done in the past. From what I saw they dont have anyone coming back remotely as good Hartzog and Booth.

JDC May drop off alittle as Mancuso molds the team for the playoffs. As he always does. You actually thought you had it won last year in November. We have some pretty good backups that can play. It was just JDC's year last year; it wont be this year; last year a young Enterprise team overachieved and we got ahead of schedule. If this is our year then good; if its not so be it. Mancuso cant win games by himself; both Enterprise and Raleigh should be better than JDC on paper but games are not played on paper. I know one thing if Enterprise get JDC at home with memories of last year and revenge as motivation its going to be a long night for JDC no matter Mancuso's coaching. We were young last year and JDC was the best team in 3a; that wont be the case this year.

It baffles my mind when you can speak with any degree of confidence or certainty involving high school football - sure there are teams better than others but can you really reasonably say ____________ WILL happen in 2022 season when we aren't even to July 4th yet ?? There are no crystal balls here and while we obviously know the contenders - several teams will falter and several teams will shock us - None of us know at all how this season will shake out - that's the draw here. I seen Mancuso out coach other coaches and I also seen Mancuso get out coached. I seen Raleigh in the south state finals. They will be the team to beat for sure. Don’t count your chickens before they hatch. I promise you can be beat and out coached any Friday night.
