IF true, geez... such a show of support to Diaz. I hope Diaz is in secret talks with Virginia to secure that HC job no matter what Cristobal does. Diaz should jump all over it even if it's a $1 million annual cut in pay to start- it would be a secure job for the next 3-4 years at least. Miami obviously isn't a secure job now and he's only getting one more year IF Cristobal turns down the job. Diaz could roll that into a secure job at Miami IF allowed next year and wins 9 games... but it's a real gamble when it's obvious Miami wants to move on from him already.
