Proud of the players for playing hard all four quarters. Proud of the Soldiers of Sound marching band for a great halftime show.. and WB sophomores WR #8 and RB/LB #6 were arguably the best players on the field last night for both teams. Things will return to the West Bolivar standard in the near future. It’s about accountability.. a WB team that doesn’t run the levee, lift weights/condition at an elite level, or block/hit the sled isn’t a WB team. That’s part of tradition. And tradition can’t be taken away to build something or establish a philosophy for one person. Therefore, I’m saying as a community member and stakeholder that at the end of this season people have to step forward and hold everyone accountable. The roster here isn’t one that should be rebuilding.. so accountability must be judged by wins and losses. This isn’t just my opinion.. many people have approached me at games and called me speaking on this topic. Just give us a chance and West Bolivar football will be back on the map.
