Had the one standout year in 2018 and won the district but even then lost in Round 1. pancho Posted September 21, 2021 Share Posted September 21, 2021 From what I am told, there is and has been a severe lack of discipline and control displayed by the team. They have really taken a drop from how competitive they were when Chad Cook was HC there. It is sad simply because Shannon does have talent. I'm assuming Ken Topps was brought in as the heir apparent HC when Carter retires so maybe Ken can get into the heads of the parents as well as the kids because that is he only thing that will remedy this type situation. They will beat Tish but Shannon and Mooreville might be quite a tussle for that 4th place spot. And if I'm not mistaken that 4th place finish gets them a first round date down in Winston County.
