JPS website will tell you if you click on feeder programs. Looks to me that most JPS schools continue to drop in numbers.

St Martin was the smallest 7A at 964

Meridian largest 6A at 958.

Found it. Looks like Murrah will drop a long way. Last team in 6A or the top of 5A depending on how many more they lost.

there are many schools all over the state reporting much lower numbers.   Why is this?

If some are reporting low numbers then some schools have to be reporting higher numbers unless folks are moving out of state.

Not sure what the statistics are but home school students have exploded in MS. Enrollment numbers down across the state.

OS had about 40 go to homeschool. Lost close to 200 total from last year district wide.

I heard from a friend that Newton County turned in 328 I believe, not sure where they were last time, but that number seems really low for them.

Looks like they would have been at 455 off last years numbers. That alone goes to show how much movement there is likely to be.
