2026 will have three classes:

3A, 2A... &1A which will have a D1 and D2, unlike 3A and 2A.

Power Point system remains in place.

3 rounds of playoffs with season ending November 13th. You don't need a power point system. 4 regions of 5 schools and you take the top 2 teams to the playoffs. Then u separate the Jackson Schools into different regions hoping they are top 2 in region for the money.

2 championships in 3A and 2A. 16 of 20 in 3A make playoffs. 16 of 35ish 2A schools make the playoffs

PowerPoint system is not set in stone. A lot of coaches/admin pushing for district standings to determine playoff seeding with PowerPoints being used for at large seeds.

That’s a much better system, as long as only 1 title per classification is awarded.
