Rebel Bert
If Foster has some influence then who does he want the coach to replace Oxford with on the schedule.
NoWammies
If he wants to stack W’s my guess would be South Pontotoc or make a rivalry with Water Valley. Coffeeville or Bruce might have an open date. Might as well add a 3rd Memphis school to the schedule because 2 doesn’t seem like enough that doesn’t bring much of a crowd and ticket sales.
pancho
I expect the 3rd memphis team to be on the schedule. he has a tentative plan for a new HC if the heat gets to him too.
Saints24
And what’s that plan? The audience would love to know
GTownDanger06
All these people pitching in have no idea just how bad Foster has been at Lafayette and honestly Senatobia. They ran him out of Senatobia and now Lafayette is finding out why. Jay Foster is concerned with one thing….. Jay Foster.  He ran Michael Fair out of town by telling him 6-5 and getting beat by Oxford won’t keep your job at Lafayette and ran off all of his assistant coaches. Genius Jay Foster also had the opportunity to hire Stan Hill as HC when he ran Michael off but chose his “buddy” to bring back the good ole days. I don’t know if he checked the school but there isn’t a Jeremy Liggins, Jeremy Woodall, or Demarcus Dennis running around Lafayette anymore.  Jay has been getting hammered about the gap between Oxford and Lafayette County in football given that demographics and student population is basically the same. The gap shouldn’t be that wide but it is growing and it’s due to him running everyone out of town. Instead of taking the blame and fixing it his plan is to QUIT the crosstown classic and run like a coward so he can claim the gap isn’t as wide as it actually is.  He showed no regard for softball that use the game to fundraise and no regard for baseball that has worked their tails off to get to the point that they beat Oxford and are the premier baseball program in town. Now because of his EGO those children don’t get to compete in the classic. Also what about Volleyball that wins the classic most years, but hey football is the main thing causing his deficiency as a leader to be noticed so his plan to save his tail is to do away with the game. Jay Foster is the best thing to happen to OHS and Regents. I guarantee Adam Pugh would not have quit on the kids to make himself look better.
