Oak Gove vs Petal

Boyles never beat Causey during his Meridian stint and he also lost the previous south state matchup before he left Petal. But I enjoy the over reactions nonetheless. Petal played a great game and deserved to finally get over the hump vs OG.

Causey is actually 8-4 while at OG against Marcus and has an overall winning percentage of 79% since 2018. If that is him being outcoached since the beginning I am sure Oak Grove will take it.

This is the year to beat OG if you’re gonna do it. Most of those kids are juniors and sophomores.

meaning close games with talented players or allowed a bad play call..not only him but other coaches I will not name. Boyles is a great coach and staff not the best players but still find a way to beat talented teams.

Not sure what you mean but atleast OGs talent stays in OG to win games and they don’t have to reach out to East Marion, South Jones, Taylorsville, poplarville, Richton to get players to win some games. Maybe try doing it with the players they have. But again that would not be Petal/Boyles tactics. Again congrats on Petal for finally getting over the hump and beating OG for the first time since 2019. Let’s see if they can do it when it matters.

LOL.  Don’t make it sound like Osk Grjces stories history of recruiting kids since 2002 hasn’t existed.  They do it just as much, if not more than, petal/Boyle’s has.

OG done it too they tried to get Barnes last year and that got kids from Magee and place before don't act like they dont try just people don't want go there no more like used to
