Vott
For those who attend JR High games, do your coaches stand on the field behind the offenses and defenses or do they coach from the sidelines? I do not see the purpose of having coaches on the field while the game is being played. Coach it like it would be if they were in high school. But I will say this as well, I have seen JR High coaches also show up with 4 coaches with two coaching from the sidelines wearing the headsets with 2 coaches at the top of the stadium also wearing headsets. Chunky6617
Junior high coaches are on the field, and they should be most of the time. Many of them are learning a new system at that time and it makes it way easier on the players and the coaches. Many even do it for JV games
doyouevencoachbro
In 7th grade coaches need to be on the field. You need to make corrections and be teaching them what they did wrong or right. You aren't on the field to scheme the other 7th grade and that is where a lot of junior high coaches fail.

Depends on the size of the school and how much time the coaches get to work with the kids. Many smaller schools share their HS coaches with the middle school, so the middle school may only be practicing for 50-60 minutes during the day. Schools with their own dedicated JH programs that don't share coaches are probably better organized and have more time with their players.
