Charleston and Scott Central for the wins on Friday night.

4 exceptional teams playing for the chance to play in the championship game. All well deserving in their own rights. Lots of talent on each team. Safe travels, good sportsmanship, along with injury-free participation to all.

Good look to you guys Friday. Looking forward to a highly competitive game. Tons of talent on both sides.

I'm rolling with Eupora and Scott Central. Yes I was and I'll be in Charleston this Friday.

Eupora has proved me wrong all year. What that coach has done with this program in just a few short years is very admirable. Glad to see us back to our winning ways and making a run this year. Good luck to Charleston and Go Eagles 🦅

The Eupora rushing record for a season is 2,140 yards set by Kentrell Brooks in 2002. Jackie Hankins is second with 2,139 yards in 2004. Those were ground and pound teams coached by Lance Pogue. Ty Murphy could see 2,000 yards this year if he keeps up the pace. The kid has been on fire lately.

I've been trying to find these sort of records. What else you know about Eupora records?

Where can I find some of these records?

With Charleston/Eupora I don’t think you can really go off of common opponents anyways. Charleston has much improved as the season went along. If went off common opponents last week you would’ve thought Choctaw County would’ve had their way with Charleston since Charleston lost to Leflore County early in the year and Choctaw County dominated Leflore County. Eupora has gotten better as the season has gone on too and clicking on all cylinders right now which was shown against North Side. Can’t wait to see this one.

This is correct. You just can’t do common opponents in general. Each week is different. We played JZ George the last week of the regular season and beat them 50-12 and played them 2 weeks later and they gave us a game till the 3rd quarter. After Eupora lost to nettleton and Biggersville early on, I was worried. They’ve won 10 straight since losing to Biggersville. They’ve found ways to win the close ones and been able to put teams away when they had the opportunity. And from what I’ve seen Charleston has come on strong the last half of the year. This should be a great game.
