Mize is slightly closer to Bay Springs than Puckett. However, that distance could be from Tax Assessors office on main street in Raleigh to 35/18 interchange. Raleigh is approximately 10 miles from Bay Springs/Puckett. I don't understand how you justify mileage sending St Andrew's to Quitman and Florence to Cleveland in north 5A. But there were some head scratchers. I think they went the pattern of 4A R5 for 3A/2A R5. R3 3A only has 4 delta schools. Then Noxubee is back in R4. Florence is in R2 5A going to Cleveland. If Newton had been placed in region 6, their furtherest drive would have 45 minutes to Heidelberg. All the rest of their drives would have been 35 minutes away. Their drives to their current district opponents in region 5 will be similar except for Lake. But their drive to puckett will be almost an hour.
