I'm starting to lean towards Davis leaving a toxic situation more than what McElroy said. Wouldn't be surprised if he was picked up soon. The Seahawks raved about him.

Kids just look similar in my opinion. I think the region is brutal but someone could have success at Saltillo. Can't lose players to Tupelo and TCPS.

Twitter loves to say the older run heavy misdirection offenses won't prepare kids for the next level.. while i can see the argument i believe that if you're a real deal ball player it doesn't matter what system you come from.

I think a lot of the advocacy stems from other coaches who think it’s a lesser offensive system. The bread and butter might be simple but some of the wing hybrids can be insane.

I don’t know anything about Tylertown/Raleigh besides the back Raleigh has and tylertown likes to slang it around. JDC vs enterprise intrigues me more. I am pulling for enterprise but i think JDC might just be to stacked for anyone this year.

Belittling the JDC staff wasn’t my intention. Belittling those that regard them as one of the best coaches of all time was my intention.

Bassfield was power before he even got there. Just like people going on and on about Mitch Evans. Who just happened to be the head coach at Taylorsville through the ty Keyes years. How come we don’t hear about how great of a coach mancuso was when he was at poplarville? I think he is a fine coach but sometimes we put guys on a pedestal that just happened to always have the best hand of cards. If You want to talk about coaching what this enterprise staff has done with less talent is more impressive to me than Mancusos wins at Bassfield and JDC

Closest school to the navy base which lends to kind of a transient student body. Also probably the least community support of all the county schools. Facilities aren't great. Don't think the administration really places an emphasis on football which is a shame because they might have the most talent in the county. If Meridian High doesn't suffer some key injuries late in the year they would have made the playoffs.

If this was in enterprise i would drive over. Hope you can get number 9 down.

I’m sure coach Evans is a good coach and excellent leader of young men but what exactly are you backing this statement up with? I understand he only lost 3 games in 3 years at Taylorsville but i think that was a little less X’s and O’s and more Jimmies and Joe’s
