Hey we ain’t complaining in the Cleave! I know why Donte got Mr. 5A. I saw it first hand. He is a stud! I don’t think I’ve seen that type of college ready back before! I see all these high school players announcing their offers that they have received from colleges, then I see that they thank their "recruiting team". Are these kids and their families hiring recruiting firms or something to help get these kids scholarship offers? Maybe it has always been this way and I've just never noticed it before.

Man those Billy Miller and Jerry Alexander days were something to behold! Moss Point was the team of the 80s and mid to late 90s. I think Jerry Alexander won 5 state titles! If y’all get a chance look up the 1997 game Moss Point vs Blount(AL). Real Man football!

I also agree with this! It’s crazy with the athletes that you see GC put on the field that they could be 0-5. I guess the question really is, how good is West Harrison? At first I thought they’re just playing inferior competition, then they beat George County. It’s gonna be interesting.

Well! Our boy John Peterson #1 from Vancleave high school rushed 30 times for 355 yards and 6 tds against Greene County. The cleave won 49-20! He’s a top 100 senior in the state! Give the boy some looks. He deserves it!

Vancleave beat Greene County 49-20! Just about every media outlet picked Greene County to win by 20! Our tailback John Peterson #1 rushed 30 times for 355 yards and scored 6 touchdowns. He needs to get some looks! The defense has improved. The bar has been set high for the dogs for sure!

I would imagine he’d be playing both ways based off the talent pool. And I also agree, Capers will make a huge difference. I don’t know if he’s the defensive coordinator or not. But his defenses have always been pretty solid.
