Cal Preps slipped a bit in 2a and 4a

No surprises here. Should be a fun north half game this week

They're playing great football atm. Charleston there will be a tough game.

Sickboy were you at the game?

Eupora rolled. QB had 322 total yards 5 tds

I hope you're right, but this is the same thing you say every year

Eupora vs Northside is a true toss up in my opinion. Eupora's QB and offense has been red hot and they have the longest win streak in 2a. North Side is big and fast and will play hard at home. Choctaw Co vs Charleston. Charleston has the slight edge but there is little doubt Choctaw Co has the most raw talent in 2a. Charleston in a tight one. Scott Central should win pretty easily. Velma is more athletic than Lake, but should be a pretty good game. Slight edge to Lake because it is at home.

That's tough. 1a football seems to be full of 17-20 man teams and then 30-35 man teams. Makes the competition very spotty, and injuries are insanely detrimental.

I looked them up and they had a 3-8 season with some pretty bad losses. He said they were young so that makes some sense, but I was a little surprised at the overall record.

In case you needed clarification

Yeah I know him and his brother. Good guys

Kemper was down this year. They looking better for next season?

Anyone mentioned Joe Lin Gant? He had some ungodly talent at Weir but he was a dang good coach too.

Yeah they're relatively junior heavy. Gonna be a force next year for sure. They've got about 45 on the 8th grade team alone. Joey is loaded for the future too.

I never said only private schools recruit. They just do it to a higher degree

The issue with a wing T team is the execution has to be perfect. There is so little room for error, one or two failed drives combined with an opponent score or two makes it very difficult to come back. When they work, they can be beautiful, but the margin for error is so tight.

Lol I think you forgot a comma...

I'm 42, I don't see your point. All I'm saying is that this is a forum, meaning everything is conveyed through typing... There is no inflection, no understand implications, just text. As such, being able to represent what you're trying to say in at least semi-decent English is pretty much a necessity. We all have grammar gaffs and use colloquial terms, but in order for a forum to work and the conversations to move forward in a worthwhile manner, at least somewhat well-written posts are needed.

Yeah, that's gonna be a no. Enterprise struggled down the stretch and were put out first round, JDC would have won by minimum two tds

I went back and read some of this thread to familiarize myself again, and I see now that this is just another example of and EBF. I love people who support their schools, but unrealistic expectations and bad attitudes sour people on their team of choice.

I'm not sure how you got a personal attack out of my post. I find it humorous and odd. You may want to chill out a little bit.

Dude is an enigma, he rolls in after 2 months and is full tilt, while also ignoring any comments directed at him.

And he reappears

I figured. Guess I never noticed

Joey definitely does a good job at Winona. He's been blessed with some great talent too, but that's part of it.
