You would be doing yourself a disservice if you attempt to crown any team as having the best offense/defense based on scores. Charleston only played the starters 3 times in the 2nd half since district play started. (Leflore County, Philidelphia, Union). Subs has given up all 2nd half points with the exception of 7 to Union. Charleston is much better than you realize. Heidlberg will be a formidable opponent no doubt. Things will work itself out on Friday.

These computer projections are also based on the games being played at neutral fields. When calculating in home field, 7A North & 6A South could easily be reversed with Starkville and West Jones favored to win. maroontide06 I can see where you are coming from with your analysis. IMO talent level has less to do with the tightness of the projections in 7 & 6A, but more with strength of schedules being similar. The teams involved only play other 7 or 6A teams or the highest ranking 5 or 4A teams.

If Charleston wins at Hamilton and Union wins, Charleston will host the North Half. If Charleston wins at Hamilton and CC wins, CC will host the North Half.

Sometimes I believe there are more sleeper posters than there are teams.

Support in the stands can be the 12th man. When Charleston is playing at home against Non-Delta teams, other Delta fans show up and lend support. Either way the atmosphere is quite electric in the Tiger Den regardless to which team you support. Officiating has never been a deciding factor at Charleston, (positive or negative). The players usually respond well to being in the playoffs.

I like you, no matter how misguided your comments can be. Teams have a gauntlet to get through to get to Ole Miss in December. Good luck to whomever your team is.
