With the history of this program they may should go with the more experienced coach. The AD is a former coach. He wants to help coach, from what I hear. He called the offense when he was the head coach at Lawrence County. So, maybe he hires a defensive coach. Russum and Granger are both defensive coaches. IMO

It was a tough spot for Hankins to come in to. He probably wasn’t the best fit. Hired retired guys from AL that I don’t think were as invested as they should have been. Good young players. I can see WC getting on track. I’m not sure Hankins can overcome the past few years but he is a good guy.

Yes, it is what it is, but you would have to know what has actually been happening within the program to understand why a change is needed.

I have heard the same. Also, Wayne County will probably open. Purvis ? Very good possibility Hattiesburg opens, with his son going to South Alabama he may follow. Could be a lot of movement.
