He has been an OC at Louisville when they won state championship several years ago. Also been at Pearl, Tupelo, Senatobia. He has been under some of the best Head Coaches. His dad is retired coach Jamie Mitchell so he has a great pedigree. He is a hard worker, disciplined, and will bring fresh ideas.

Not all kudos go to coaches who bring winning seasons. Sometimes kudos need to go to a coach who willingly goes to a school who hasn't won in years and is slowly turning the program around. 1st year Head Coach at Northeast Lauderdale, Dillon Mitchell, took his team from winning 1 game last year to 4 wins this year. It is, by far, not where it needs to be but its on a promising path. I expect he has a great future ahead of him!
