Bringing home Matt Luke. JK

I agree. Hubbard and Dowdell looked avg. against a very talented Alabama defense. I will interesting to see if they develop at the next level. Can Hubbard develop into a starter in a very talented defensive backfield at Bama and will Dowdell adjust to fast paced wide open offense at Oregon.

OS recruits and doesn't even try to hide it.

Archie only makes 89k. That is being the Head Football Coach/Assistant Principal. It may be more money than OG, but is it enough to up and move for.

That is the problem. Gulfport doesn't pay as well as some may think.

They are gonna have to up the pay for most of those names. I know Walters only makes 90k.

Politics cost MS this game. Howard showed he had no business in this game. MS had no threat of throwing the ball. It’s a shame the state’s best passer was left off the roster. Cutcliffe should be ashamed. Especially when the rest of the staff wanted Irvin.

Perkins is best player on the field. Ole Miss better break out the check book . He has a visit to Alabama coming up. Will he stick with his commitment or sign with the Tide?

Wishful thinking in my eyes. They would definitely have to break out the check book for him to even consider that move.

John Feaster another Picayune Alum may not be a bad pick. Had a great run this year.

Thanks.

Someone should request their financial records. They are a non profit organization, so by law that must make their records public when requested.

I agree. Or maybe a Chip Bilderback at Columbia.

OS didn't find their coach from the Jackson area. They found him at Pass Christian after he lead them to the playoffs in his first year. But he was the OC at Clinton before that.

I don't think Dolan and Dyess would be good fits. Mancuso would be interesting, but don't think he would be interested. They have tried the older more successful coaches in the past with not much more success. I don't think you have to look outside the state. There are more than qualified coaches in this state. Just have to find the right fit. Someone that is not on the way out. A Chris Jones, Blake Pennock, Sam Williams type coach. All these coaches were successful at smaller schools and worked their way up. Those type guys are out there.

Yes. I know it’s probably the home town pick, but I don’t know if that would be the right hire. I would think this job will get some interest from some proven winners.

Ok who do you think will get this job?

I agree with a lot of these. I seriously doubt Chris Jones would be in the mix. He has a good thing going at Starkville. I am thinking if its anyone from Starkville, it will be one of the assistants.

Tough job yes, but I am not buying the demographics. That is just an excuse. Cheyenne Trussell will find the right guy for the job. He is by far the best AD in the state to work for. I wouldn't be surprised if he lures Tony Vance out of Hattiesburg.

Anyone have a link or know if they plan on having a press conference this year? The Misshsaa usually does a poor job advertising and producing this.

I think you were wrong. Kaden Irving is playing in the All American game.

That would explain why it was taken down off his twitter page. The kid is still the best QB in the state. There is not a better pure passer and it will show in the MS/AL game, when they can't throw the ball.

After seeing Irving play against Picayune, there is no doubt that he is the best QB in the state. There is not a QB in the state that can make the throws he can make. Word is the MS staff all wanted Irving, but Cutcliffe wasn't having any of it. Don't get me wrong Howard is a good QB, but no where near the talent of Irving. Lost a little respect for Cutcliffe.

I agree to disagree. You don’t need announcers, just the live feed. Then turn the volume off like I did.

I thought Gary was bad on Saturdays. These announcers on the live stream are awful.
