George was playing with their 3 string quarterback. Deuce Knight had not transferred back yet and Brenn Moody was hurt. If they were full strength that game would have probably been a blowout in George County’s favor. As far as this season, I only expect Hattiesburg, Picayune or Pascagoula to challenge/beat George County in the regular season. Biloxi lost a good bit on defense and didn’t bring back a ton offensively from what I am told. I know many will bring up the new coach, but I believe that will end up being a bust and he will be gone in 2-3 years top. He will not be able to recruit like he did at Prattville (this contributed to his lack of success at orange Beach). Biloxi will most likely be fighting for the 3-4 spot from what I hear.
