Wayne County- Whew!!! I’ve been ostracized,criticized, plagiarized, politicized , fried died laid to the side and nailed to the cross for my strong take on the state of things. Somebody told me that everything is right there to be had because region is starting and I was bringing pressure. It’s true the not so tough region is starting Friday. I can’t comment what may happen but that corner is getting smaller and smaller. I will be first in line to put them up on my shoulders if things turn around. Pressure ? Wayne County is pressure . We thrived when the pressure is on. Like a great coach once said Pressure is a privilege not a curse. I’m sure some are angry. Won’t be the first time. We will still be friends. I don’t take back anything. I feel like some are taking lightly what we look like. Not Coach Hankins. The man is grieving and grinding over this it’s apparent. The man is an all star but between the lines it’s not carrying over. I honestly don’t get it. Ok enough of that. Hattiesburg . You shouldn’t have to last minute George County. Sorry. No way the team that pummeled Laurel should have fell off that much. That doesn’t bode well for the heavyweights you are going against down the road. West Jones has to come to y’all so there’s that at least. More on this one down the road Is anyone in 5A worth a dam ? Somebody tell me. West Point had a big win last Friday they could be coming on. Picayune going to Pascagoula . I would like to go to this one. I might. Picayune will be down ten points getting off the bus. The first TD they make will be called back. Guaranteed. Sims usually has one good game per season in him. They haven’t seen the wing in a while so that doesn’t bode well. I’ve watched a little of Ocean Springs. There is a raw toughness to the way they play compared to before. Battle tested. Stay tuned. I kind of made fun of Stockstill for leaving a championship team in Scott Central and going to sad Pass. There is no doubt this cat is a rising star after what he’s done there in a short time. I underestimated this guy. I was wrong . Howard-Cosell I extended the invitation to have input every week. You have slinked away. I think I understand why. It’s still open. Maybe later. I think I can come up with enough every week. I’m getting my groove back.

Not enough meridian boys on this list….. we got talent out the a** here. Y’all gonna find out after oak grove don’t worry…. My sons could beat at least two of these kids listed out….

I'll never understand why Long Beach got rid of Forrest Williams and moved him to administration. He had turned the corner by the end of it.

Pascagoula and the rest of the division schedule should be a cate walk for the Tide. Im glad to be done with that tough non division schedule every game except Diberville was a 7 -A playoff contender. After the Ocean Springs game that we stunk up all of Picayune with and the bye week, I feel like we learned some things and got some rest that we needed and maybe washed off that stink from last game we will be a better team going forward. We got our good kicker coming back and Davis in a week or 2.

He’s improving every week. You can tell Corey is bringing him along slowly. He’s hitting some throws now where earlier he was just throwing it in the general direction of the receiver. I’ve have to get out and see picayune but I can say this. This West Jones team is better than last season. They haven’t been hit n the mouth yet but I think they will respond in kind. I don’t know about the north but 6A South playoffs are going to be fantastic.

They have #1 at QB now and I don’t think they did to start the season. The Raleigh game wasn’t a “fluke”, Raleigh outplayed them. But it was a close game. It’s two evenly matched teams, IMO.

I still think SC can be 3-1 in Region.
