Bama had some bad calls but for 70 years they have gotten all the calls. Georgia dominated the LOS and was the better team. KY-LSU was a fun game to watch tonight as well!!! Happy that SC got the win after the heartbreak of last Saturday. SEC is a muddled mess right now.

I don’t want to hear any Bama fans saying they got screwed after what the rest of the league has had to suffer through for years against them (but they had some bad calls). UF was a top 10 teams two weeks ago. LSU has been all defense and KY had them confused the whole second half. Oklahoma with a huge win. Congrats on their offense for that one TD that helped win the game 27-24. Missouri vs OM next week is a huge game. Wasn’t expecting that after State gave Missouri an L. Very entertaining weekend.

Kiffin losing makes the weekend just a bit better. Georgia with a heck of a win at Bama. Just a very interesting day all the way around. State @ LSU becomes an interesting match up. If we were fully healthy, I would like our chances but as it stands now, I just don’t think it will happen. How LSU responds will be something to watch as well. How this week goes before this game will be something to watch. Missouri-Ole Miss may be an elimination game with respect to the playoff. We will see.

Also it just occurred to me that State is going to be playing in Tiger Stadium next Saturday probably as the higher ranked team. How crazy is that?

Kentucky beats LSU in OT. Awesome game. Will Stein has gotta be the frontrunner for SEC coach of the year right now. Georgia beats Bama in Tuscaloosa. Big win for UGA. Maybe Kirby has finally shaken his Bama bugaboo. What a wacky day in the league.

Playing Kozy tough doesnt compare to playing Tupelo! Hands down Tupelo is the by far the best team in the state of Mississippi! I say mid 3rd quarter itll be over with but i wouldnt be surprised if its over by halftime

Just goes to show that anything can happen on a Saturday in the SEC. Not totally surprised by SC. They have played some good football, just have not been able to finish. Today they finished with an exclamation point. Oklahoma winning is definitely not a surprise. That game has a way of being wacky especially when one team sucks and the other team is good. Arkansas gave TN a run but the way they ended the game was horrible. You have two minutes and three time outs and you throw three straight passes and PUNT. Why not run the ball? Tennessee was inviting them to run the ball. But at the very least you gotta go for it on fourth down. Missouri and Mississippi held serve and we will see what happens with LSU-KY and Bama-Jawja.

And Oklahoma with the big upset in Dallas! Wow!

They had a very small class like 38. For some reason either Ai or US World News has it at 198 which is a large increase. So either some failed the 11th, promoted from 8th to the 9th, or recruiting away from say Quitman, NE Jones, or Wayne County(Beat Four), etc just saying. Sometimes kids gravitate toward a winner.

Without the multiplier that 4A dropping to 3A is minimum or normal now. I f some of the Jackson area MAIS schools come over to MHSAA that may change or be true.

Wow. Did not have SC blowing out Florida in Gainesville on my bingo card. Also, if there was any doubt that Vandy was back to being the Vandy we all remember….. holy moly this first half against OM. Good showing by the Rebels, clearly. That Mizzou game next week is huge.

The AD is the OC and he took the play calling over before this season started. Before that Cody called the plays. Nothing looked any different just played a weaker defense.

You don't recon we will have 4/5/6 team regions in 1A-4A since they gave Neeves the right to set up 5A-7A with 5/6/7 team regions.

Florida is about to go from #8 to likely 4 straight losses. They travel to Texas next week and have Georgia following a bye week

Hernando going to give Tupelo run for their money. West Point going to get their 1st win against Lafayette. Caledonia going to make Pontotoc work for that game and it will come down to who win the time possession, clock management, going to be a very key to that game and a lot of running in that game

Ole Miss -9.5 @ Vandy: Won’t be surprised if this is close. The Louisville win and Florida loss haven’t aged well. I can’t pinpoint how good Ole Miss is yet. But, I believe OM’s concerning run defense is better suited for Vandy’s style. Offensively Ole Miss needs to find ways to reduce Kewan’s usage. He’s not Derrick Henry. He’s 5’11 205. Get the backup more involved, he’s not Kewan but he’s solid. Ole Miss wins a sloppy one 21-17 Georgia @ Bama(-2.5): Both teams are legit. Georgia isn’t going to bully Bama in the trenches like they did last year. Deboer & co have done a phenomenal job in evaluating the new guys they’ve brought in. Even if you stuff Bama’s run game, they have a Heisman QB with elite weapons, and a few more coming off the bench. I take Bama winning just off the offensive firepower alone 35-28 LSU -9.5 @ Kentucky: I think Kentucky is a good ball club. Sam Leavitt is already untrustworthy, and now he’s going on the road into a pumped up crowd. If there’s an upset this week, this would be it. I’m still going to take LSU to win, but Kentucky covers the spread. LSU 28-24 SC @ Florida -10.5: This game could get weird. You rarely ever see good teams with first year head coaches be consistent, as shown last week. Beamer is fighting for his life at this point. Florida OC Buster Faulkner will likely be playing against his first head coaching job next year. Florida 35-28 A&M @ Mizzou -4??????? Vegas is onto something. I wouldn’t touch this game with a 10 ft pole. I have Mizzou 28-14, but there may be some black magic here Tennessee -13.5 @ Arkansas: Blowout here. Tennessee rushes for 250+ and wins 42-14 Texas (-7.5) @ Oklahoma: This could be weird too. Muschamp has the best defense in the nation, and the Mateer led Sooners are pitiful offensively. Texas wins in a low scoring slugfest 14-7 Also, if you love football, get a peak of the Northwestern Wildcats. Chip Kelly ran the Wing-T against Penn State and rushed for 413. They also played Indiana tough. America’s team!
