It has been a very nice town but the “good ole boy” agenda catches up to everyone eventually (just check out the Wayne County threads). Everyone in charge is coating each others pockets and not doing their job.

Really? A couple yrs ago I attended an Ole Miss game and the only place I could get a place to stay was in Grenada. I thought it was a nice town.

Grenada has a lot more problems than football players moving. The city as a whole is rotting from the inside out beginning with the city council, mayor, sheriff, chief of police, superintendent, school board, etc. The only thing good about Grenada is the people that have enough sense to move away from there. It will be Greenville in 10 years

Grenada has had 3 starters transfer to Winona and the 2029 #1 prospect transfer to University Lab in Baton Rouge.

Water Valley would also beat over half of the teams in 2A ranking.

They also don’t know that Cleveland Central isn’t 4A. If they were they would be #1

You can tell these rankings shouldn’t be looked at as credible considering they don’t even know Calhoun city isn’t a 2A school

These rankings come from A Combo of Massey, ESPN, SI, Maxpreps. I know we have ESPN radio in Mississippi. The rest i don't know or have a clue. It is a combined rating of the 4. With that said here is a 5A Correction 10 West Point 22 Brookhaven 35 Holmes County Central 38 Ridgeland 42 New Hope 47 Laurel 59 South Jones 61 Vicksburg 64 Wayne County 70 Lafayette County Personally I think it may be largely based on last years results. If you look up your school in search they have projected scores for your 2026 schedule.
