Maybe there are 24 teams that can win the NC, Nick Saban. Nobody expected State to win without, Taylor and Fluff, but State didn’t seem very motivated or prepared either. They should still be able to get 6 wins, but injuries have derailed a promising season. Huge win for OM. They play really well at home, and are in a great spot with some of the outcomes today. It’s been a crazy day with another round of games left.

Unless you gave somewhere between 315 to 345 you should be very confident in either 3A or 4A. That split will be interesting since it was 320 in 2024 and maybe around 330 in 2025. I still say we may have a shifted further north 3A South. Schools like Noxabee, Choctaw, Louisville, Newton County, Yazoo County, etc in region 5 and6 respectfully.

Feel like this needs a bump. Anyone have any thoughts on 6A South after two weeks of district play? In Region 4 you’ve got Picayune sitting 2-0, 4 teams at 1-1, and PRC at 0-2.

Not much to say about State-LSU. You got what everyone expected once KT and Fluff were announced out. OM on the verge of routing Mizzou. This has been a really impressive performance so far. OM may have figured some things out in that bye week after the Florida game.

Indiana is very physical, and Jeremiah Williams is phenomenal. But outside of that, neither Indiana or Ohio State look very impressive. Right now I think the 4 big guys are 1. Georgia 2. Miami, and Notre Dame / Bama interchangeably at 3 and 4

Puckett is a tough dude, I’ll give him that. He’s clearly limited in what he can do but he’s also getting zero help from State’s running game. LSU’s offense pretty much doing whatever they want. It feels like a pretty safe gameplan by Kiffin to avoid tunrnovers and they’ve still gotten plenty. No need to gamble on much when you know State is going to be doing good to score period.

Pontotoc, New Hope won't be no blow out and New Hope play Pontotoc very tough, New Hope going to upset Pontotoc, they are playing in New Hope too. Shannon might blow Itawamba out and Shannon coming for their payback from last year lost at Itawamba 23-18, refs cheated Shannon in that game

Still can’t really tell how good Ole Miss is. A&M is terrible, and Mizzou was a stylistic nightmare for Florida. So I don’t believe Mizzou is worth the hype they have. OM should be about 10 points better than Mizzou if both teams play perfect. Mizzou’s offense is designed to repeat Florida’s game plan on Ole Miss. But I think Golding is seasoned enough to adjust to this run style. Ole Miss 31-21

I've never known of a coach being fired for running up the score, but I do know a supt who would question a HC after a huge margin of victory, say 68-0. He wouldn't question him in an accusatory fashion, just sort of "Hey, what happened? Were they that terrible?" His district had several schools, so he couldn't be at every game & be familiar with the opponents of each team, so he would ask questions.
