With the costs of officials, security, & gate workers, the school is approximately $1500 in the red before kickoff. When you have bad weather, you lose money. If a game is suspended to weather because of lightning or maybe the power went out, is there a time frame on an official game? If your down 42-0 and play is suspended, do you really want to come back and finish it? On the other hand it is a 17-14 game and play is suspended.
