FootballGuy Posted September 3, 2022 Share Posted September 3, 2022 Now that we are a couple of weeks into the season how do you feel about the 35 point running clock rule? personally I’m not a fan of it at 35 points for a couple of reasons 1) I have seen a team come back from a 35 point beat down in the first half to win the game 2) The backups don’t get much playing time and game experience with a running clock. Tiburon Posted September 3, 2022 Share Posted September 3, 2022 we just missed this last night at bassfield because they called back that pick 6. would have been nice to be able to comment firsthand about that. anyway, as a fan who paid for a game, i expect 4 quarters. a rule like this that hastens the end of the game may be depriving fans of seeing the greatest comeback in the history of football. i’m agin it.
