IRONEagle Posted April 26, 2021 Share Posted April 26, 2021 (edited) I will be providing weekly updates on West Bolivar as the spring sessions kick into full gear. In Rosedale, we don’t plan to rebuild and make excuses. Two years ago in 2019, West Bolivar won the district title finishing the year with a 9-3 record despite key injuries. Football is now returning after the 2020 season was canceled. Based on what I’ve seen, Rosedale should compete again this year for the district title. That’s the bottom line. The future looks very promising especially on the Jr. High level. The Jr. High should compete for or win the DVC for the next 4 years with their talent. They have some big and athletic kids coming up in grades 4-8. If the teams aren’t successful this season then you’ll hear from me the reason(s) why they weren’t and I’ll give a full report on the season starting with coaching. This will be in every sport. One major announcement I want to make as IronEagle athletics starts to take off is that this season I’ll attempt to record all Jr. High and HS home games in football & basketball. People will see the action and get a review of each game from me. That way, our community and student athletes will start to see who really is for them and want to see our program be successful again year in/year competing for state titles.
