I don't think anyone should say Mullen isn't a good coach, he just isn't a great coach (few are, that's not a knock on Mullen). Averaging 8 wins at MSU (or Ole Miss) keeps a coach employed. Averaging 8 wins per year at Florida isn't acceptable to them. Good point on UT on what they've become, and I'll add Nebraska. I'm not sold Florida is on the road of UT/Nebraska, but it's certainly possible. IF Stricklan doesn't make the right hire, he'll be out the door in a couple of years.
