SCVMC1G
If #2 Heritage Academy and #3 Oak Forest Academy make it to the semi-finals (and they probably will), who wins and goes on to the 5A State Championship (to probably play #1 Leake Academy)? MSTSatchmo
OF has some impressive scores (outscored opponents 319-52), but I have no idea how good the competition is. Heritage and Leake were practically dead even all night. A very odd 4 and 5 play where HA was stopped short is all that separated the two. Any of those 3 could be the 5A champ. s1nglewing
This'll be Oak Forest's first real test

Yeah OFA's competition wasn't very good but they did what a good team is supposed to do against lesser comp. I was at the Heritage vs. Leake game and it was one of the best I've seen. If Heritage hadn't fumbled with 2 minutes left it would have probably went into OT. I agree any of the three could win it but Heritage vs. OFA will be an interesting semi-final. TheAnswer
ACCS was a good test for OFA, but ACCS was really sloppy in that game.

TheAnswer
Like I said, ACCS played sloppy. They are one of the most talented teams in 5A and 4A.

Maybe . . . but they're not what they were with Sewell, LaPrarie and Cotten. IMHO they'd probably wind up 6-4 or 5-5 if they were still in 5A. The two Barnes brothers are definitely talented though. So do you think they could have beat OFA if they had played like they're capable?
s1nglewing
IMO, Heritage by a TD, although I'd like to see OFA win this week
