slicklizard Posted October 19, 2021 Share Posted October 19, 2021 I wouldn't be surprised if coach used this as some kind of rest week. Our kids need some rest and healing time I heard that the QB won't play and was limping pretty bad at school yesterday. Our best WR is definitely out with with his shoulder and number #2 who plays opposite hurt his hand too the other night.Maybe just as well because the backup is a much better runner than passer but he can get them lined up and can change plays Also our DE may be out , I don't know what happened to him and our top tackler at LB is being watched for concussion, A starting corner went down too late in the game thats how Natchez added that late score. To top it all off our offensive coordinator came back home sick the other night and can't attend school or practice until the symptoms go away. That trip to Natchez really done a number on this team . It may be best to go vanilla and get some moved up kids ready for Laurel next week. This game really doesn't make that much of a difference anyway and a loss would send Hattiesburg to George or Picayune in round one which wouldn't be bad for our district. The hidden point here is they get to feast on cream puffs to finish the season while Hattiesburg, Laurel, West and us beat the crap out of each other.
