Not sure if schools like North tippah who isn't fully organized yet or North Pontotoc or New Albany put up much of a fight or not.

Yea but if there were 8 or 9 schools in 4A in NE Ms they might have a reason or say in where they want to be region wise. All they had to do was ship the western most school of 6 to Region 2. Sometimes that happens to a new school. Ask Choctaw County when they first organized. The director said if your going to consolidate do it now and not next summer. Less pain and frustration from MHSAA.

Not to my knowledge.  In the past schools had a week to protest the classification then a week to protest regions. You don't see protests anymore. However they gave the schools a week Sept 21 until Sept 28 to correct numbers.

I wish Quitman had protested. We are 15 minutes from Clarkdale & 30 minutes from Southeast Lauderdale yet we are not in the same region?!?!?! Instead we are stuck traveling an hour & half to Megee & Mendenhall!!

They should have taken Pisgah and St Andrew's north. I instead they created a completely new weak region 6. 2 hours to McLaurin pending your direction you drive.

I think will be interesting how they draw up the region schedule. I am sure Magee and Mendenhall will play the last weak. I think McLaurin and Quitman should play first Friday in October at least u get some daylight driving.
