At Enterprise we've always played that old school football; we're going to be physical; we're going to run the ball; and if we dont we wont be suceessful.': Enterprise head coach Kelly Jimmerson ''Being a senior, I feel its my job to be a leader on this team at QB; the most important position on offense; and I feel I've got big shoes to fill from the quarterbacks of the past.'' Enterprise QB Jayce Gunn Enterprise plans to reload in 2023 The saying ''we dont rebuild we reload'' could apply to the Enterprise Bulldogs in recent years. For the past four years Enterprise has won eight or more games and finished first or second in its region. It especially applies this year as Enterprise lost 14 seniors to graduation off last years 8-3 team. Enterprise will look to continue that mentality in 2023. Senior Jayce Gunn takes over at QB and gives Enterprise a dual threat aspect to the offense that Enterprise didnt have last year. Seniors Zee Sims, Ja'Karuis Pickens and Harris Burt scored a combined 32 touchdowns in 2022. Senior Clarke Gaylean and juniors Landon McGowan and Tanner Sanders will be the fullbacks. The offensive line returns only one starter in senior left tackle Wesley Culbreth. Junior Eryn Hale will anchor the OL and center. On defense Enterprise returns six starters with Tim Miller at defensive end; Burt Gaylean McGowan and sanders at linebacker; Sims Elfring and Pickens at CB; Ridge Jackson at free safety and Gunn at strong safety.
