pancho
Are we aware of any students being picked up by ICE?
Rebel Bert
You will have to look at those schools with larger foreign populations. I think Trump and Holman are going into Chicago and now NYC. I am going to assume that any arrest in Mississippi will require a hold on those individuals and their family to be deported. My guess is when the news truck shows up at your school a removal is immediately. My guess is some schools may lose some athletes. Otherwise this is not a football or athletic issue. Admiral4Life
You're less likely to see the same problems here in MS as you would in the sanctuary cities and more liberal areas. MS law enforcement cooperates with ICE where if an illegal immigrant is arrested he's immediately handed over. In some of the areas ICE is in you're seeing local law enforcement and state law enforcement are not cooperating which is forcing ICE to deploy in larger and more public ways. Granted, they're also being far more public about it than usual because it was a campaign promise from Trump and the resistance is largely fueled by TDS and general protest against Trump's policies regardless of their reasoning (It's all fascist and everyone is Hitler). pancho
another reason is the fact that there are simply so many of them.
