Picarella is out. So all the kids that his daddy was paying for are finding other places to go.
This team is about to be horrendous. They put no effort into junior high and have relied on recruiting. About to be rough times ahead unless they find a new bag man to replace Dr. Picarella.

Wow. so, they are going to be the punching bag of the metro 6A, I guess. Right I found it odd that the coach and his wife were all over twitter talking about this. Now, with Hartfield picking up that star player that St. Joe is upset that they picked up, I am not surprised. Hartfield is trying hard to get up to the higher echelon, especially with Prep making a huge resurgence once they got the right coach in Goodwin.

My guess the daddy lost his head coach in John Bond. Now caring his players to some other school after Bond left.

“He was fined for making inappropriate jestures and using vulgar language toward a player from the opposing team during a varsity football game. Because of his conduct , he was fined and banned from attending any MAIS athletic events for 5 weeks. St . Joseph Catholic School was fined and placed on probation for a period of one year.
He and the school failed to comply with the sanctions levied by the Affairs Committee. He attended both the first half of the game the following week and also participated in the homecoming ceremony at halftime. Because of this, was fined and cannot attend any MAIS athletic events, home or away, for one calendar year. In addition, if he attends a St. Joseph athletic contest during the period in which he is banned, said game(s) will be forfeited, and the team(s) will not be eligible for post-season play in that sport. In addition, the school is fined  for lack of institutional control in failing to carry out the sanctions issued by the committee.”

This explains a lot. Guessing he was standing on the sidelines?
