Yeah that isn't exactly true. He may have this year after he was told he would get the job after Chip, and then they go back on that and hire someone else. But he wouldn't have been the only coach to have done this.

Just saw an article from a CL writer saying it’s happening.

No clue on Long Beach. Ethel will probably struggle to find someone. Puckett will probably hire a local coordinator. Have heard they were after one from Simpson County. Not sure which school. George County is a mess, St. Martin will struggle to find someone. Center Hill got what is believed to be a big upgrade in Harville from Grenada. No clue about any other openings. Wasn't Vardaman open at one time? They hire anybody?

Didn't know for sure if he had taken it "officially". Just knew he had stepped down from FCAHS.

A good number of head coaching vacancies are filled by a higher up's "buddy" every year. Rather if that is a super or a principal.

Harville, Kirk Academy, HC, and an in county assistant is all I know for CH. Clinton should be attractive to some big names. Have a guy or two on staff with successful HC experience too.

Been told it’s pretty much a formality. Was told from the beginning it’s Harville’s to decline. Heard that was the first interview as well.

Usually promotes from within or knows who they want.

Tyler Peterson would probably be the promotion from within.
