I see this as a trap game and Liberty inching out a win. It all falls on OM D. The greatest thing about this game is I will be on the sidelines with my fam on Liberty side watching. We have a good friend playing on their team

The rankings will be posted tonight at 6! Who’s your top 4? And why? I’ll start. 1. Georgia (powerful team in FBS) 2. Alabama ( Strongest team in FBS, questionable Secondary but still strong ) 3. Michigan State (Running game is real. Dark horse of the Big 10. Ohio state game looming though) 4. Cincinnati (weak a$& schedule and conference but ND is helping state their case as they win. So they will be 4 for now.

This has been one crazy weekend of football. For Alabama, it’s like most of the players were left in Tuscaloosa, but giving the point the Trey Sanders and Jase Mccllenen are out indefinitely and Malachi Moore got thrown out for a stupid targeting call, the game plan was thrown out the window. TAMU capitalized hard on the DBs and the run game was there when it was called. I have to give it to Jimbo and staff on having them ready from last week. The play calling on both sides of the ball made Alabama defeated from the get go. Passing it three times from inside the 5 while Brian Robinson sitting not gettting the finishing touches. State won’t have a chance against this team next weekend. Bama will come in more prepared and will blitz the crap out of us. Our O line better strap up hard because it’s going to be a long game for the trenches. Protecting Will is a must Saturday night. Ark/OM: KJ and Matt balled out hard. Played very well. The decision to not put go into overtime is stupid IMO. I know both teams couldn’t stop each other but what is wrong with putting it in OT??? Arkansas could’ve won but simply gave them the game. Both defenses are concerning just like Alabama. Kentucky/ LSU Coach O will be gone by the end of this year. I think they will do it right to him to coach it all the way out. Kentucky just may be for real but we will see come Saturday afternoon in Athens. This will definitely be a battle for the SEC East. Other teams Tennessee is looking scarier as the year goes but still will lose some games. I see them maybe giving Alabama fits and could possibly beat them. Auburn is still auburn. Cincy and Iowa have been playin great ball. The rankings are coming really sorry so this weekend, most teams needs to put on Show.

Agree with everything except ND over Cincy. I think this is the year they get in the playoff.

LSU definitely won’t be the same team from last year. This game is definitely a must win for both coaches. I hate morning games but I will be watching from up top in the nosebleeds like Sting during WCW. LOL. I don’t know which fan base is more frustrated but I do know this: If MSU don’t win this game, oh will those tones change from months ago about Leech. Many changed this past weekend (minus the cheat code by the refs). State has to win this one to be more a valid 6 win team. Because it won’t get easier after this game with TAMU and Bama coming up as well. Offense has to get better, O-line has to sustain blocks. Penalties has to be lessen. And defense has to ball out.

Snoop is more of a power running back in my opinion. Has the speed just like Deuce but I rarely seen Deuce literally run through guys in the end zone like Snoop. I would stay though he’s a little bit balanced like Deuce. But I will say Snoop is making the offense in OM look scary. The game coming in Tuscaloosa will be foretelling.

College football is becoming to be very unpredictable as the years go by. It’s not a lot of note-worthy games as you guys say but any game can have “upset alerts” and “witching” hours. I do expect State to win and Ole Miss as well. MSU just need to clean up penalties and put points on the board to make this an uneven bout. Memphis is known to go to battle with MS schools but wet the bed towards the end. So I see MSU winning comfortably on Saturday. With OM, I’m not gonna sleep on Tulane too much. I see the game being closer and them putting a hat on OM throughout the game at times but OM will come out with a win. This will be a small test for the Rebs before the looming trip to Tuscaloosa in two weeks. That bye week will only make them or break them. Enough time to correct mistakes but a weekend of rest don’t always help. Alabama will be battle tested by then. Penn State/Auburn. All I can say is it will be a lot of running but I’m not touching this one. Just enjoy the game lol.

I agree. That possession was horrid and it don’t need to happen again. Leech should’ve known better for that. The WR Corp we have will get us down the field with ease if only we just block better at the line and give Rogers more time to look at his progression and let it fly. MSU has to fix the little things because each game is vital now. Especially after Labor Day weekend. The pass blocking to me is the most important. Leech has more eyes on him than ever before. Everyone now knows that Ole miss has a defense and how it showed. MSU can’t look like boo boo the fool around the country and if we do, the fan base will once again go rouge and there will be a division. Half of the fans ain’t sold on him anyways.

For MSU, I am still, not sold on Leech, but I will give him a chance just like each coach should get. What I seen from MSU in the first game, first and foremost, was too many penalties and TOs. I am sure this will be addressed in practice this week and i hope to see an improvement for this weekend against NC State. The O-line looks atrocious. Bottomline. I don't know who is the O-line coach but my God. Now in some plays, they did give Rogers enough time to throw, but to pick up blitzes when LA Tech were sending the stunt packages, they def need work. We have some talented playmakers on the offensive side of the ball with speed, something I haven't seen a long time. I love Quint Marks as a back, he will be a problem this year in the backfield. Leech's play calling with 5 min towards the half baffled the hell out of me. When you are back into your own 5 or less yard line. You got to run the ball to give you some cushion. And with the style of offense that called in the situation shouldve been audibled to runs, Marks has the speed to get the first down, but what do I know. He turned it up and improved in the second half with the comeback. But LA tech had no business marching down the field to get the potential win for the FG. Arnett's defense better clean it up, because the 3-5-3 defense has its pros and cons. All in all, they got the win. NC State, Memphis , and LSU are must winnable games which we should get. This is the year with no excuses. Plus Malik Heath and De'monte Russell is returning this weekend. It's go time.

I agree. Watching last night's only proved to me that the defense for OM is well-coached, I didn't care what team they played. They were on a national stage in the ATL and it was mandatory that this team showed to the college football world that it has a defense that will fly to the ball, and that is what they did. They didn't have this showing for the past 3 years and to see them putting a hat on a ball carrier (minus the targeting fiasco). I am sure there are a few mishaps they had in the secondary but thats why they brought in the new D-coord in to fix it. OM will be a problem in the West if they can keep it up. Tulane and Alabama will really tell us what they have.

I hope it don’t either but the computer models are looking wayyyy too similar from 2005 when it hit open water. It’s been said that it would be Katrina’s rival, but Katrina was a Cat 3. It’s gonna be real interesting in the morning.
