  5. I have been coaching for over 30 years and different levels. I guess I have been fortunate not to have race as a factor in putting a team together.
  6. I really hope that is not even a remote possibility. That sounds like a thought process straight out of the 1950's
  7. Beginning with the 2022-23 school year, reclassification will be based on enrollment figures in grades 9 – 11. 8.1.6 Beginning with the 2023-24 school year, the top 24 member schools with the greatest enrollment in grades 9 – 11 will be classified as 7A. The next 24 schools will be classified as 6A, the following 24 schools will be classified as 5A; 4A will be the next 40 member schools; 3A next 40 schools, followed by 2A the next 40 schools. The remaining member schools will be classified as 1A. 8.2 Changes in Classification 8.2.1 Classification changes and redistricting shall be considered in even numbered years to become effective the following school year. 8.2.3 Changes in classification and districts shall be made at regular two-year intervals. 8.3 Enrollment Calculation 8.3.1 In a classification year, a school’s classification shall be based on its total enrollment in grades 9- 11 as of October 1 of the current school year as verified by the Mississippi Department of Education. The Executive Director or his/her designee shall obtain the enrollment numbers from MDE. School enrollments reported to the MDE shall be considered official for classification purposes. 8.3.2 No requests for corrections shall be accepted by the Executive Committee after the MDE has certified the enrollment figures and the figures have been received by the Executive Director or designee. 8.3.3 A school’s classification enrollment shall include all students in grades 9, 10, 11. Each student shall be counted as one (1), regardless of the percentage of hours enrolled
  8. I would have to agree. I don't see anything that could help EC by posting something like this. I also could not see myself calling out players' names with injures. It just seems a bit negative to me.
  9. Looking at the MHAA had book. The 2022 enrolment count 9th-11th grade will determine your head count for the next two years.
  10. Wow! That's some good research. Thanks for taking the time to straiten me out. Why do you think the average enrolment numbers will drop so much? Just from the numbers I see it looks like most of the school you list are not having there seniors coming back to graduate. Or am I missing something?
  11. Am I understanding EC has an unusually large senior class? I would think that if all the schools dropped the senior the class the numbers would trend similarly. Even though the total would be a smaller number.
  12. Lets see from what I understand. 7A will be the 24 largest schools 6A will make up the next 24 largest schools and 5A will be the next 24 largest schools. 4A will be the next 40 largest 3A will be the 40 next largest then 2A the next 40. 1A will be what is left.
  13. Ok I see. Did you count the other 11 schools that were smaller then EC? Why do you think the other 11 will have a larger enrolment Than EC? I hope I don't sound coarse. I would really like to understand why you feel the way you do. I seems very improbable to me. 14. Enterprise High School307 The last role EC had was 307 and you say you think they will be up to 311. well that make 12 3a schools that will be smaller then EC. With a 12 school buffer I don't understand how you think they are on the borderline. 15. I don't see a realistic path for EC to drop to 3A there enrolment keeps going up every year. As for EL their enrolment numbers have been falling so I don't see it moving to 2A either. But there is always a possibility.

  17. The last time I watched Morton I was thinking if they put there mind to it. They could give anyone a good game.
  18. Who said Mize was no good. They showed grit for sure. I thought the game looked a little sloppy. But all and all it was a good game.
  19. Looking over the resumes of Raleigh, Tylertown , Enterprise and JDC. Jefferson Davis County had the toughest schedule by far. They lost their first 4 games to very good teams. The rest of their schedule looked comparable. I think any of the 4 could win the south and or the state. All 4 teams are good, but at this stage of the game you have to be more than good. You have to be a team. I know EC has that. I don't know that about the other 3. Either way its going to be a great battle and that my friends is the best part. God bless.
  20. I haven't seen Raleigh play but everything points to them being a great team. I've seem Morton and they left me with the impression they have way more to give. This game could be a great game if Morton gets right.
  21. This should be a great game. Magee has a good run pass ratio and great defense. Enterprise has a multi threat running game and can pass the ball enough to keep the defense honest and a well rounded defense. This is should be a 4 quarter game for sure.
  22. That is an easy statement to make. How about saying something original? WOW? lol
