  1. Kemper Co win should not be a surprise they two Dandy Dozen players on the team they will be very good.
  2. Lake is not a middling 2A team they have some great athletes they gonna make some noise in 2A Enterprise played a typical first game made some mistakes we can be a dangerous team when we improve.
  3. From https://www.wtok.com/ Enterprise 0-0 at Lake 0-0 The Enterprise Bulldogs make the trip to Death Valley to play the Lake Hornets in the season opener for both teams; Enterprise will be breaking in a new QB, Gavin Smith, and will have RBs Landen McGowan, Hagan Hardy and Tanner Sanders while on defense the defensive end tandem of Tim Miller and Caden Mathis, as well as defensive lineman Alex Dickerson and linebacker Brayden Johnson; Lake brings back a veteran team that returns most from a 4-7 team last year; RBs Jamarrion Blaylock and Jeremiah Mayes look to be weapons on offense, while on defense DE Demetruis Towner and LBs Ny'Zavion Mclendon and Blaylock head up the Hornet defense. Enterprise has won four straight in the series including a 21-20 win at Enterprise last year. Prediction: Bulldogs make it five straight Enterprise 19 Lake 6
  4. If Mize beats Enterprise it would be an upset it wouldnt be an upset if Enterprise beats Mize.
  5. Enterprise was a different team later in the year the Enterprise team that played Wesson and JDC would have beaten Mize our O-line will be better this year they were young when we played Mize from what I see of Mize they only have one good player Gray they are big but have no speed or passing game to speak of if we stop Gray we should be alright because Mize dont have anyone else Enterprise is better than last year as well Mize might beat Enterprise but it sure aint no sure thing.
  6. Union is generally expected to be better than Mize so it doesnt make much sense to pick Enterprise to beat Union and lose to Mize though I expect Enterprise to beat both teams.
  7. Seminary is in region 6 we would not play them in 1st round.
  8. Probably 3rd round at least; outside chance of 3A South state; gonna be hard to get further than that.
  9. Region 8 is weak if we finish 3rd we'll probably play West Marion but that whole region is weak Enterprise could beat anyone in region 8.
  10. I believe at worst we will finish 6-3 with the losses coming to Union Noxubee and Kemper Co; we are a lock for 3rd place in district as SE Lauderdale and McLaurin were terrible last year and not likely to be better this year; I think we beat Lake Mize Clarkdale and Newton but Noxubee and Kemper will be incredibly hard to beat; Noxubee is probably the best 3A team in the state and Kemper Co is loaded with D-1 athletes; we could beat Union as they will not be as good as last year and lost a lot.
  11. From https://www.wtok.com/2024/07/23/pre-season-preview-enterprise-bulldogs/ Enterprise Bulldogs Head Coach Kelly Jimmerson 12th year Returning Starters: Offense eight Defense Eight Players to watch: Landon Mcgowan WB/LB Hagan Hardy RB/DB Tanner Sanders FB//LB Brayden Johnson RB/LB Tim Miller TE/DE Caden Mathis TE/DE Austin Reynolds C/DT Alex Dickerson OG/DT Trent Williams OT/DT Maddox Moore PK/Punter EHS Head Coach Kelly Jimmerson: ''I mean every year ends and you kind of have to shut it out of your mind and move on but its still in the back of your mind. Obviously last year we didn't reach the goals we had set. This year hopefully we can learn from some of the mistakes we made last year and do a little better than we did last year. Every group is special they're seniors. You spend five to six years of your life with them. You know this is their last opportunity with you so you want to make it as good as it could possibly be. But at the end of the day they have to want that also. Like I said we just want this group hopefully to one day look back and appreciate the things we did try to do with them.'' Enterprise Senior WB/LB Landon McGowan: [Being a Senior] It gives me responsibility for everybody to take control and lead this team to a better place. I'm looking forward to making it to at least the second round [or] third; its how far we can go and thats really all I want us to have.'' The Enterprise Bulldogs are looking back to getting on the winning side of things after having their first losing season in several years. Enterprise finished 5-6 in 2023 their first losing season since 2018. The Bulldogs will field a more experienced squad as eight starters return on both offense and defense from last years team. The 2024 EHS Bulldogs team will be a mix of experienced veterans and young inexperienced players. While the offensive and defensive lines and front seven return most the offensive and defensive backfields will be young and lack experience. The offensive line returns all but one starter but Enterprise's starting QB and several major contributors in the backfield graduated while the entire secondary from last year graduated. Senior Landon McGowan [576 yards six TDs] and Senior Tanner Sanders [134 yards 3 TDs] are the only returning starters ; Sophomore Ryder Freeman [ 6-1 160] will be Enterprise's starting QB; the O-Line will be anchored by junior Austin Reynolds [6-1 295]. On defense key players returning include senior defensive ends Tim Miller [49 tackles 5 QB sacks] and Caden Mathis [1QB sack] junior defensive lineman Alex Dickerson [33 tackles 1 QB sack] junior LB Brayden Johnson [70 tackles three QB sacks] McGowan [38 tackles] ; Senior Maddox Moore will handle lace kicking and punting. Enterprise kicks off the 2024 season at Lake on Aug. 30.

  14. They will go by October 2024 enrollment numbers schools that drop a classification have students leaving Enterprise is the exact opposite we have people and students moving into the Enterprise school district if we have 3A numbers in October we stay in 3A.
  15. Enterprise has beat Quitman the last two times we played and Quitman will fall off big time after Dear leaves.
  16. Enterprise is not dropping to 2A too many people moving in.
  17. I hope so we need to play Quitman every year be cool if Enterprise and Quitman were in the same region it would be huge for Clarke County.

  19. Noxubee at Enterprise; its always hard to win at Enterprise it could happen.
  20. Louisville may have the best team in the state, they return almost everyone; Louisville whipped WP last year and WP wont have Daniels or Tillman; neither WP or Starkville will be as good as they were in 2023.
  21. The poll has pretty much all the defending champions as # 1 I believe in 7a 5a 3a and 1a there will be new state champions West Jones and Charleston have good chances to repeat and Louisville is pretty much a lock to win 4a. Also in 2a no way Mize and Clarkdale should be ahead of Scott Central.

  23. I dont hate WP I picked them to win 5a last year just think with Chambless gone and losing everyone on offense their run is over. Everyones run ends sometime.
