I agree. The term "best player in the state" is a very vague term when placed across a state. Is it stat based, win based, offer based, career based, season based, etc. Just frustrating

Clinton beat Starkville already this year. I do think Stark can win but I doubt they'll beat them by more than one score

Biggersville, McEvans and Bay Springs should all win by at least 2 scores. I doubt Hamilton can beat Taylorsville, but it should be the most interesting.

I'll be surprised if Charleston can beat Choctaw Velma Jackson should beat Lake This is a toss up, Eupora is a different team than the previous two times they played North Side but it will be a tough one Scott Central wins pretty easily

Yup, the competition in that area is so bad they look better than they are. They were 60+ points better than anyone in region 1 and get wrecked by North Side

When the competition is extremely varied and there are no direct points of comparison for most of the players, you have to have objective measures.

I would say 5a and 2a are debatable. I don't know enough about the others to make a statement.
