I think 2024 will be exactly how 2023 went. The Hattiesburg/West Jones game will determine the region winner. Terry takes the 3 spot and the Forest Hill/Pearl River Central winner gets the 4 spot. The questions to be answered are, Is this HHS team the best team since 2017 when HHS made the 5a title game. Will West Jones defense be the strong point of their team even though they lost almost all of their starters. Does Terry have enough coming back to challenge HHS or WJ and finally, will Pearl River Central snap their losing streak this season that goes back to the middle of the 2022 season
