That’s what we have been discussing. I don’t see how you are going to be able to do that in 2A South without it being a geographical disaster for some teams. You can make it work, but only if one region has 4 teams while another one has 6

South looks right. West Lauderdale and Newton Co could flip.

You could say first place is riding on this game Petal will be in the drivers seat with a win and chaos will reign if Meridian can pull it off. Petal likes to play it close and play for the last possession to protect their sorry defense. If this game is close and Meridian gets the ball with five or six minutes left they will win . They have the kind of style to grind it out and score . Vance won’t do like Brandon did with the lead Its hard to believe that Coach Boyles will lose this game at home plus you know what happens in Petal with officiating. Nobody has really given Petal a good arse whopping yet this season.. This would be a great time for it to happen. Fingers crossed. Meridian has the athletes to do it but they will need a few breaks to keep them hanging around until the end

Mrytle moved up to 2A. I think they will go into Region 1, Hatley to Region 4, Vardaman to Region 2, and Marks to Region 3

In 1A through 4A each Region has 5 teams.

So nothing really changed here from what I can tell

Mount Olive turned in 59. Taylorsville turned in 108

Predictions for 3A north?

Seminary or JDC

Probably a 4 team region up north.

I don't think Kosciusko will be in Region 2 that a far drive and they should stay put in Region 4-4A and they might put Houston back in Region 4-4A

I would think Tylertown stays where they are with West Marion,PCS,St Patrick, and Seminary replacing Stanislaus

Clarkdale, SE Lauderdale, Quitman, Raleigh, Union, Pisgah, and McLaurin all sitting East of Mendenhall but the current district is along I-20. 6 schools along I-20 could force Quitman into region 6 with Raleigh, Magee, Mendenhall, and McLaurin. That would send Seminary and JDC with PCS. There is a possibility of 2 6 school regions in the south. Do they go along I-20 and keep everyone together then add Clarkdale. Or do they just add Mendenhall to region 6 and Clarkdale to region 5 and call it a day. I would prefer 6 school regions to eliminate the open date.

I figured they would be. The reason I figured Mendenhall would be because it is 20 miles closer to Quitman than Pisgah. We were always in the district together when we were in 4A.

Not confirmed but I can tell you them and Magee will likely be together.

As far as I know all the north teams play football
