I don't know why people get so confused over it. It's right there in plain sight saying if two teams from the same region meet the higher seed hosts.

Yep! The old way was very outdated and didn't make any sense. When the district and having to go to the very team you beat to win the district if they advanced

Agreed. The state tried to give every school district a chance to make a little of that postseason dough, but I say teams earn the home field advantage, and should keep it throughout the playoffs.
